Hounds of Hecate Class

Every third Sunday of the month the Hounds of Hecate Class will meet to discuss the aspects of the goddess Hecate that will be honored at the corresponding Hounds of Hecate Ritual upon the new moon.

The opening class will focus on the general relationship with the goddess and Her symbols which include the key, the snake, the blade and especially the Hound. We will address: 1) The meaning of the labyrinth as a symbol of END and BEGINNING, 2) Each of the symbols of Hecate, 3) The fact that all of these symbols come from the oldest Goddess of all, 4) That Hecate is already in place in about as many old religions and magics of the world, and 5) That death and the dark side -- the keys of the journey -- are in almost all of the religions and magics of the old world.
